Thank You.

Here’s the story:

A mother cat brought her tiny kitten to Angela’s kost, where pets are not allowed. But Angela hid the kitten in her room and allowed the mother to go and come, to sleep and feed and play with her kitten. Later, Angela sent Mum and her one baby to Villa Kitty. That was on Tuesday.

On Friday, from her room, Angela heard a kitten’s cry and climbed a wall to find two more kittens in a 20-30cm gap between her kost and her neighbour’s house. Despite all signs to the contrary, she now knew the mother cat had another two newborn kittens, left behind, stuck in the gap and in danger of dying after three days without food.

Angela tried her best to lure the kittens out with wet food on a long stick, but they were too young and too weak to respond. She called on BAWA for help and our ambulance rushed to the scene.

It was precision work to safely remove the tiny kittens, but fortunately now they are reunited with their mother and tiny siblings. We hope we were in time and that the three will survive and grow to be strong and healthy.
