Maggi lives close to Ubud, and although she loves animals she had chosen not to adopt a dog because she knew that long trips for work were always a possibility. However, when she found two tiny, starving puppies living under her car, she couldn’t refuse to help them.
Maggi was able to adopt out one puppy and was desperately trying to find a home for Foxy before her next work contract started in February.
Maggi described Foxy as “a lovely little girl … friendly when she knows you, shy with strangers, a love bug really … cuddles and snuggles whenever she can.” She said she wished she could keep Foxy, but it just wasn’t possible.
If you have space in your heart and your home for a dog like Foxy, we have plenty more in need of loving homes. Also, just because you don’t live here doesn’t mean you can’t help. We have many dogs that need foster carers while they are awaiting permanent homes or recovery from illness or injury. It will add a special touch to your holiday in Bali.
