SUPERSTARS & ROYALTY LOVE THEIR BALI DOGS

Posted on February 18, 2014

BAWA recently visited retired Australian Olympic and world champion swimmer Michael Klim and his beautiful family at their home in Bali to talk about their love for all things Bali …including the island’s indigenous dog.

Michael and his Balinese princess wife Lindy and their three children Stella, Frankie and Rocco split their time between Bali and Melbourne. Lindy and Michael also travel the world for their skincare brand Milk & Co and Lindy’s fashion line Sunday Luxe.

However, at home in Bali where they spend most of their time, the Klims like to relax with their children and their treasured Bali dog Pixie, who they said once found her way home after being missing for 3 months!

Pixie really is another member of the Klim family and she gets a lot of love and cuddles.

BAWA thanks the Klims for choosing a Bali dog. The Bali dog is perhaps the most genetically pure and oldest dog known to man. Regrettably, the highly-intelligent Bali dog is under threat from interbreeding, indiscriminate killing and poisoning, other mistreatment and cruelty and the terrible dog meat trade.

Every day BAWA works hard to protect and preserve the highly significant Bali dog from abuse, sickness and extinction. Please contact us if you would like to adopt a loyal and loving Bali dog:  info@balianimalwelfare.com or 0811-389-004.

If you would like to help us save the Bali dog, please donate on this website where you can make a single or monthly donation. Every donation makes a difference.
