BAWA supporter Sarah Parnell will undertake a mammoth challenge in September, all to raise funds and awareness for BAWA! Sarah’s challenge will be walking 47 miles of the Norfolk (UK) coastline!

Sarah is doing it all to support BAWA and UK charity BREAK, allowing sponsors to choose which charity they would like to support. She’ll be collecting donations right up until the walk – and even making collections from people she meets along the way! The walk will take Sarah form Cromor to Hunstanton. Sarah, we salute you!

Sarah wanted to support BAWA and all the animals we help after volunteering at our clinic earlier this year. “I was really sad to see the condition of Bali’s animals and just wanted to do something that could help when I arrived back in the UK – so I thought of this walk,” she said.

During her time volunteering at BAWA, Sarah met so many special souls including Koko the Bali dog, who came to BAWA in a terrible

condition. Koko made a full recovery thanks to Sarah, other volunteers and our clinic staff’s care and is now in a new home.

There were other special dogs for Sarah; including one-eyed Hope and mischievous Sam who are still looking for new homes. Now with Sarah’s fundraising, she’ll be helping them and animals to recover and find new homes.

BAWA thanks Sarah and everyone who is helping to support our work. We rely on lovely people just like Sarah to continue saving animals in Bali. To support Sarah’s efforts, please visit her Facebook page at
