Meet Hemmie, HeiHei, Heather, and Helmi. When they were reported to the BAWA hotline after being pulled out of a rice sack getting washed out into waves at the beach, our ambulance rushed to the scene, but they had scattered.

Two of them were weak and still sitting on the beach; two others were found sleeping in a nearby shelter, while two others had already been taken by beachgoers. We rescued these remaining puppies, who were all suffering from bad scabies infections, and the two weakest pups were admitted to a vet clinic for round-the-clock care. Our four new recruits had a long way to go. But with treatment, nutritious meals, lots of baths and oil rubdowns, they made a complete recovery and have turned into (and we are speaking objectively here) some of the most ADORABLE puppies we’ve ever had!

One by one, this gorgeous litter has been adopted, leaving only sweet Helmi waiting for her chance to catch someone’s interest.
