BURJA, DUMPED BY CRUEL OWNER, NEEDS A HOME

Burja was cruelly dumped at Sunset Vet Clinic in Kuta. The owner made the disturbing threat that if the clinic wouldn’t take Burja, he would take the dog home and cut off his head to keep as a “souvenir”. The owner didn’t say why he didn’t want Burja anymore, but veterinary examinations revealed that he has problems with both his knees and urgently needs surgery. Students at SD 3 Pejeng Kaja in Gianyar had a fun day with BAWA’s education team when we visited to give interactive presentations on BAWA’s work to save and protect Bali’s animals and on proper care for pets.   BAWA’s team was delighted at the enthusiasm of the 80 students, aged  11 -12 years, who asked many questions, especially about their beloved pets.
